The Project

Rationale of the Project

Multiple devices play an important – not to say dominant- role in education and training. Currently used devices enable you to learn regardless of the location as well as flexible in time (if the Internet works). These devices enable the intensive use of multimedia-based and interactive learning and training material. While the technical requirements for mobile and modern learning are given, there is a lack of suitable interactive and multimedia-based learning material. In addition, many trainers in adult education are not sufficiently trained to hold courses using multiple devices or to create the materials or use them sensibly and efficiently. A specific issue is to create courses that can be displayed with all of these devices.

This project aims to fill this gap between technical possibilities and the actual use of technical means.

Description

The project serves to exchange experiences and to develop digital skills, especially in the multimedia area within the staff of the participating organisations. Furthermore, the development and use of multimedia and interactive learning materials should be worked out together, brought into context with multiple devices and developed in a comprehensive
documentation. As a general topic (that runs like a red thread through the project) is the intention to promote the Erasmus+ among all citizens and generations, including by offering activities of education and exchanges of experiences to seniors. This is visible in the structure of the consortium representing all areas of european society (for example the age and the living environment).
